From Anxiety to Capacity

with Jonathan DeYoe

May 4th - Shifting from "I Am Anxious" to "This Is Anxiety"

This week, we revisit the concept of separating the self from the experience. Rather than identifying with the experience, we become observers.

May 11th - Refocusing Our Awareness to the Body

This week, we recognize and label the physical sensations that accompany our experience of anxiety and other difficult emotions.

May 18th - Developing and Expanding the Window of Tolerance

Inside our window of tolerance, we are present. Outside our window, we become overwhelmed and reactive.

May 26th - Sitting with the Difficult Feelings

Our goal is not to "fix" difficult feelings such as anxiety, but rather to successfully coexist with these experiences.

In the context of a meditation class, dana represents a voluntary contribution made by participants, symbolizing their gratitude and support for the teachings. This practice fosters a sense of community, allowing individuals to contribute according to their means, ensuring that the teachings remain accessible to all, regardless of financial status.
